I believe there is a place for sports in an academic setting; but I see first hand how students are allowed to go on through and to be honest with you some of them are as dumb as a bag of hammers! GO TEAM!!!!!!!!!

I am all for sports in schools, but not for special treatment for athletes. Sadly, I have seen this too many times in my high school. Students are being passed, by forces outside of the classroom, so they can play sports. All this does is teach the student that he/she doesn’t have to do anything b/c they are an athlete and they WILL get by.
